CP158 - Consultation Paper on the Consumer Protection Code (CPC) Response Letter
The consultation paper on the Consumer Protection Code was issued by the Central Bank of Ireland and the consultation period was open until the 7th June 2024.
The Consumer Protection Working Group co-ordinated the Institute’s response with input from the IAF and Sustainability Working Groups.

Launch of Compliance Institute's Northern Ireland Regional Chapter Event
Compliance Institute was delighted to launch it's Northern Ireland Regional Chapter Event on Wednesday 26th June which was hosted by First Derivative in their offices in Belfast.
Highlights of the event included an introduction to the mission and vision of the NI Chapter, keynote speeches from industry leaders and networking opportunities. A huge thank you to speakers and attendees for an engaging event.

The FRAC Committee needs you!

The Finance Risk & Administration Committee (FRAC) is currently looking for members. The primary function of the Committee is to provide support and expertise to the Board of the Compliance Institute in respect of its finance, risk, audit and administration functions. The Professional Certificate & Diploma in Compliance, a level 7 qualification on the NFQ, is offered by Compliance Institute’s education partner, IOB, a recognised college of UCD, commences on the 4th June 2024 with registration closing on the 12th July 2024.
We are delighted to advise that learners who register for the Professional Certificate in Compliance (Modules 1+2) can avail of the following funding: Fees HCI Pillar 3 Fee Subsidy - €680 (50% funded)
(IOB full programme fee - €1,360).
Learners who register for the Professional Diploma in Compliance (Modules 3+4) are eligible to receive 25% funding from Skillnet (learners will need to apply through their employer).
