Lecturers

Gina Fanning

Gina is a senior compliance risk governance and training practitioner with 25+ years’ experience in the Financial Services sector, ranging across Banking, Insurance, CU’s and Fintech’s.  Gina has extensive experience and expertise in implementing regulatory compliance, risk governance, AML/CFT, GDPR, IAF frameworks – 15 years at Leadership level.  Gina is Co-Founder and CEO of CompliNet Ltd., and works with a variety of clients in Financial Services across Compliance Risk Management, Governance and Training.

Alma Conroy

Alma is an experienced professional with 18 years’ experience in Compliance, AML, and KYC. In her 18 years, she has gained experience in all aspects of AML standards and MLRO Services.

Alma has developed and strengthened her knowledge of the risk management frameworks and control standards including policies, due diligence, governance, compliance, processes, continuous improvement, testing, reporting and internal/external training. Alma is a member of the Compliance Institute. She holds a Professional Certificate and Diploma in Compliance and a Diploma in Fintech Risk and Compliance in association with Professional Accountancy Training (PAT) and the Compliance Institute.

Amy Keating, Manager, Grant Thornton Ireland

Amy joined Grant Thornton in 2022 as a Manager and brings a wealth of banking experience amassed over 10 years across several large financial institutions. Amy is a Chartered Banker and previously worked as a Branch Manager in a busy retail branch leading a team of customer service officers and customer advisors. Amy worked in Bank of Ireland for over 9 years in a variety of roles and has excellent knowledge of BOI systems, processes and internal procedures.

Amy is an experienced client manager and advisor focused on customer satisfaction, portfolio management, financial risk management, business relationship management and general banking. Expert knowledge of risk, compliance, governance and assurance functions
