Compliance Institute - Regional Chapters launch
On Wednesday 21st June, we launched our Southeast regional chapter in Kilkenny. There was a great turnout for the event and the enthusiasm for the establishment of the network was fantastic to see!
Our next regional chapter event will be held in the Southwest and it will take place on July 27th.

This course is aimed at new or experienced managers, supervisors and team leaders or aspiring leaders in the workplace who want to learn how to improve their leadership and influencing skills. Last month we released the latest episode of the Compliance Files Podcast series on the Individual Accountability Framework (IAF).
The Institute’s President, Diarmuid Whyte spoke with Louise Hogan, member of the Institute's IAF and Fintech and Payments working groups and Sarah Geraghty, member of the Institute’s IAF and Pensions working groups to discuss IAF in general terms whilst also touching on some of the key aspects of the Institute’s response to the IAF Consultation Paper.

PwC has issued a survey, the objective of which is to identify and share insights into AML/CFT process, procedure, technology and framework best practices across financial institutions in Ireland.
The survey will focus on:
• Identifying how AML operating models are evolving and adapting across the financial services industry in Ireland;
• Comparing and contrasting how various entities across the Financial Services industry manage compliance with AML legislation and guidance;
• Capturing emerging trends and opportunities for automation of AML/CFT activities.
