Programme Overview
The course will provide learners with an outline of the regulatory regime in Ireland to prevent money laundering and counter the financing of terrorism financing (AML/CFT), together with insights from industry practitioners and group discussions on compliance practices.
The course will benefit a wide range of participants, including executive and non-executive board members, senior executives, management and key staff across various business functions as well as risk, regulatory, audit and compliance professionals.
Learners will gain insights into how Ireland’s AML/CFT regime has evolved, the role of the Central Bank of Ireland and other competent authorities, emerging trends, developments and the impact of technology on AML/CFT efforts. Roles and responsibilities within financial services businesses to support AML/CFT compliance will also be examined along with a consideration of common challenges encountered and best practices to support ongoing compliance.

Faye McCrossan, Compliance and MLRO Services, ONE group solutions
Guest Speaker on Week 5 - Interacting with Competent Authorities
Faye McCrossan has been active in the Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) area since 2015. Since joining ONE group solutions, she has responsibility for their Compliance and MLRO services in Ireland, assisting with the development and growth of the Irish business from an AML perspective. Faye holds internal and external Money Laundering Reporting Officer (“MLRO”) roles, providing guidance and expertise on AML and compliance matters to boards of directors and stakeholders.
Prior to joining ONE group solutions in January 2026, Faye was employed by Kroll Advisory (Ireland) Limited where she was a Vice President on the Regulatory Consulting team with responsibility for the AML and MLRO service offerings. In the past, Faye has been appointed as MLRO and and Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer (“AMLCO”) to a number of funds, management companies and investment advisors domiciled in both Ireland and the Cayman Islands. She has also held various AML roles with fund management companies and administrators.
Faye has gained an excellent knowledge and understanding of AML legislation through her experience working in operations and as a consultant.
