This practical session demonstrating to attendees exactly how to recognise manipulated documents, spot patterns of deception, and strengthen internal controls to reduce exposure to hidden fraud risks.

By the end of the session, attendees will be able to identify common red flags, understand verification techniques, and embed stronger documentation controls.

• Recognise visual, metadata and structural red flags in digital documents (PDF, JPG, PNG).
• Apply practical detection techniques without specialist forensic software.
• Strengthen onsite and remote onboarding controls.
• Implement simple verification steps to authenticate supporting documentation.
• Understand how AI-generated and AI-altered documents are evolving.
