Owen Vahey
Owen currently serves as Deputy Global Privacy Assurance Director and Data Protection Officer, Ireland for Aon, focusing on designing and implementing privacy compliance framework globally across 120 jurisdictions. Prior to joining Aon, Owen has held various roles in the financial services sector in Ireland, with a focus on regulatory compliance and data protection. Owen is a graduate of the University of Dublin, Trinity College and holds the Professional Certificate in Data Protection (CDPO) from the Institute of Banking and University College Dublin and is the current Chair of the Data Protection & Information Security Working Group of the Compliance Institute.
