- Defining and managing culture and conduct and what they really mean when exploring them through the lenses of compliance and financial crime; 
- Understanding the essential role and importance of organizational stakeholders and the potential direct and indirect conflicts with the needs of the organization; 
- The role of senior management, the importance of accountability and the value and challenges of tone from the top; and
- The practicalities and confusion of risk ownership, accountability and responsibility and their vital importance to culture and conduct.

Paul Coady is the Global Head of AFC Education & Culture for Deutsche Bank and has 25 years of global financial services experience. His particular career and thought leadership focus are on the development, delivery and management of innovative and practical compliance, conduct, and cultural frameworks, programmes and solutions.   

Paul has led significant global operations, transformation and regulatory engagement in Dublin, London, and New York and has managed related teams across the UK, Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. He has held senior roles as the Business Ethics, Policies & Training Manager for Allied Irish Bank; Global Chief Compliance Officer for DBRS Credit Rating Agency; Group Head of Compliance Policy & Learning for Barclays; and Head of Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Development, Americas, for Deutsche Bank.

Paul has an M.Sc. in Education focused on Business Ethics Awareness and Moral Reasoning from Dublin City University.  He has also recently joined the Ethics Committee of the Compliance Institute
